Values of Erzgebirge crafts are variable; depending on condition, quality, uniqueness, provenance and wheither two bidders happen to want the same one. The figures are popular items, made and sold in countless variations, for many years. That makes organizing a website about them something of a challange.
Ebay auctions are what set the values. We have decided to sell some of our collection of Erzgebirge items there and will be documenting the results on this page. This should provide a "feel" for the current market and help you estimate values for your items.
A word of warning. Many "Erzgebirge" items actually originate in China. That is not always made clear in the auction listings. We have bought a few of them and will provide a section where we point out some ways to identify them.
